The film project
Millenium-Production created, produced and distributed the documentary series Les 7 Églises de l’Apocalypse. The series achieved an exceptional distribution reach in Europe and the United States, including Canal+ and Amazon, as well as two nationwide theatrical releases in the US. This experience enabled the team to build a network of contacts in film and international distribution.
An ambitious new documentary
Millenium-Production is now preparing Le Mystère de l’homme du Linceul, a 90-minute investigative documentary about the Passion and Resurrection of Christ.
The film will bring together history, science, faith and human experience in a production made for the cinema. Interviews with specialists and witnesses will explore the evidence and its interpretation, while giving each contributor room to share their personal journey and convictions.
Filming has begun, with a release targeted for 2028. Through a rigorous, open-minded investigation, the documentary will invite audiences to explore the historical evidence surrounding the Shroud and reflect on questions of Christian faith.
Reaching international audiences
The experience gained through Les 7 Églises de l’Apocalypse and Millenium-Production’s industry contacts create opportunities for distribution in Europe, the United States and other markets. Releases on all five continents and versions in several languages are being considered, subject to distribution agreements and partnerships.
Help finance the film
The estimated production budget is CHF 200,000. Millenium-Production is seeking support through tax-deductible donations and loans. Depending on the terms agreed, a loan may be interest-free or carry an interest rate of 5%.
Your support can help bring an ambitious and meaningful documentary to the screen. Financing terms, the timetable and repayment arrangements will be set out in an agreement.
All loans carry a risk: repayment will depend in particular on the film’s revenues and sales. Neither the principal nor any return is guaranteed.
