The Chosen season 6: the Passion on the big screen

The first six episodes of season 6 will be available on several platforms at the end of 2026. The finale, focusing on the final hours of Jesus and his Passion, will come to cinemas on 12 March 2027, during Lent. Following the success of previous screenings — the season 5 event drew almost 30,000 viewers in France — this new release promises another powerful shared experience for fans.

2027 is shaping up to be a major year for films about Jesus: from his birth in L’Année zéro, through his Passion in The Chosen: Crucifixion, to the Resurrection in Mel Gibson’s film. Three films, three defining moments and an invitation to rediscover his story on the big screen.
