First annual gathering of Christian media and media projects

On Friday 31 March 2023, the Rex cinema in Vevey will host the first annual gathering of Christian media organisations and media projects from French-speaking Switzerland. Organised by Régénération, the event will offer a chance to reflect together on the future of communicating faith in a changing world.

A timely theme: the battle for attention

The conference’s main speakers — Pierre-André Léchot, Serge Carrel, Michel Kocher and Vincent Lafargue — will give a brief overview of the history of media in French-speaking Switzerland and invite participants to consider both the substance and the presentation of the Christian message in a secular society. The battle for attention is a pressing issue for Christian media seeking effective ways to reach audiences.

An open invitation to everyone working on a Christian media project

The organisers want to create a welcoming atmosphere of simplicity and fellowship. Everyone involved in a Christian media project is welcome, whatever their tradition or denomination. Participants may introduce their organisations and projects if they wish, with the aim of building relationships and encouraging collaboration.

A contribution of CHF 25 per person

Doors open at 1.30 pm, with the programme starting at 2 pm. A contribution of CHF 25 per person will be collected at the entrance, including refreshments offered to all participants at the end of the conference.
